Creator Glossary

Plain-language definitions of the terms you'll meet when you sell and host in-person experiences.

Access tier
A priced level of access a fan can buy to get closer to a creator — each tier offering more presence, participation, or scarcity than the one below it.
Cut-off date
The deadline by which a guest must register and pay for an event or trip — after which registration closes and the host finalizes numbers with vendors.
Deposit
A partial, upfront payment a guest makes to reserve a spot at an experience, with the remaining balance paid later — often non-refundable to protect the host.
Double-occupancy pricing
A per-person price quoted on the assumption that two guests share one room, so a solo guest who wants a room to themselves pays an added single supplement.
Experience pass
A pass a fan buys that grants access to a creator's in-person experience — or to a bundle or series of experiences — functioning as the ticket to the deepest tier of fan access.
Paid livestream
A live video broadcast that viewers buy access to watch — through a ticket, subscription, tip, or bundle — rather than one anyone can see for free.
Per-seat pricing
A pricing model where each attendee pays a set price for their individual seat, so total revenue scales directly with how many seats sell.
QR-code ticket
A digital event ticket whose validity is encoded in a scannable QR code, so a host can verify and check in each guest by scanning it at the door.
Sponsorship tier
A packaged level of event or creator sponsorship offered at a set price with a defined set of benefits, letting sponsors of different budgets buy in at the level that fits.
Superfan
A creator's most devoted fan — someone who reliably buys what the creator offers, shows up in person, and advocates for them, contributing far more value than a casual follower.
